Kevin Durant is undoubtedly one of the best players to ever play in the NBA.

The two-time NBA champion was recently named one of the starters for the Western Conference in the 2024 NBA All-Star game.

Upon receiving the honor for the 14th time in his career, Durant shared his reaction via his official Twitter handle.

“Thanks to the fans, media and most importantly my peers for voting me into my 14th all star game,” Durant tweeted.

There are many who believe that Durant shouldn’t have been a starter over Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers.

At the end of the day, Durant is having an excellent season, and he remains one of the most popular basketball players on the planet.

Durant has played in 37 games this season and is averaging 29.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game for the Phoenix Suns.

Initially, Durant’s individual numbers weren’t translating into many victories for the Phoenix Suns, but that has changed over the past few weeks.

After all, the Suns are currently the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 26-18 record this season.

The organization is currently on a seven-game winning streak, and Durant has done a terrific job of fulfilling the role of a leader for the franchise.
