Kevin Durant Says Draymond Green Trying To Play TE ‘Looked Terrible’

Weeks ago, former NBA player Austin Rivers stirred the pot with quite a controversial take.

He argued that he could find at least 30 NBA players who could make an NFL roster, but not 30 NFL players who could make an NBA roster.

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before multiple people shared their thoughts on the matter, with some agreeing with him, and others calling him out.

Whatever the case and regardless of where you stand on this issue, it’s a well-known fact that multiple hoopers grew up playing football and vice versa.

With that in mind, Kay Adams asked Kevin Durant who would make a better tight end between him and Draymond Green.

Unsurprisingly, Durant made the most of the opportunity to take a hilarious jab at his former teammate, stating that he didn’t even stand a chance as a tight end and looked ‘terrible.’ (via Up & Adams).

Who would make a better TE… KD or Draymond Green???

Durant pointed out that Green played a spring game while at Michigan State and he looked terrible.

He claimed that Green may have talked a little too much trash to football players before they told him to pad up.

Truth be told, the tape didn’t do much to help Green’s case, so perhaps Durant has a valid point there.

He also claimed that, given that he played guard in the NBA, he could definitely get a little lower and adapt to play football as well, adding that he could ‘easily’ team up with Tyreek Hill and join the flag football team for the 2028 Olympics.
