Kevin Durant Shares Ultimate Praise For Warriors Guard

Superstar Kevin Durant has played with no shortage of great players during his NBA career up to this point, with many of those players being backcourt players that play the point guard position.

During his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Durant shared the floor with Russell Westbrook and was part of one of the best one-two punches in the league, as the two stars on the rise at the time took the NBA by storm only a few years after being drafted by the then-Seattle Supersonics.

After Durant came to the conclusion that he couldn’t win a title playing alongside Westbrook, he took his talents to the Bay Area to team up with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green on the Golden State Warriors.

That turned out to be a winning combination of star players who were able to win two titles before Durant was on the move again, signing with the Brooklyn Nets to join forces with Kyrie Irving.

The move to Brooklyn was a big mistake for Durant, who was traded to the Phoenix Suns last season to team up with Chris Paul and Devin Booker.

It appears that during his short time playing alongside Paul, the future Hall of Famer left quite an impression on him, as he believes the veteran point guard is the best player at that position of this generation, according to Joy De’Angela via Legion Hoops.

Kevin Durant:

“Chris Paul is arguably the best point guard of this generation… I said arguably. We can argue.”

As a result of this statement, it leaves people to wonder if there’s an ongoing beef or dislike for Curry, who many believe is in the conversation for best point guard of all time with Magic Johnson.

However, Durant did say this stance can be argued and that it will be considering Paul now plays alongside Curry in Golden State.
