The Boston Celtics are on the cusp of returning to the Eastern Conference Final.
But this year is different for a number of reasons, including the fact that the Celtics have been the most dominant team in the league all season.
However, some people have questioned the toughness of this team and wondered how they will do against tough rivals.
Speaking with BetMGM, via BetQL, NBA star Kevin Garnett said his former team is very tough.
“They’re by no means soft at all,” Garnett said, adding that they have shown that they have what it takes to win it all and shouldn’t be doubted.

Garnett said the team has been strong on both ends of the court and is also lucky to have such a deeper roster.
While Jayson Tatum may be the team’s lead star, multiple players in the lineup are immensely talented and capable of scoring a lot.
According to Garnett, that is why the Celtics can win this year’s championship.
Still, the criticism about this team won’t go away until the title is theirs.
Many NBA fans feel that the Celtics have had an easy path to this point in the playoffs.
They first had to face the short-handed Miami Heat and now they are battling the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers.
Meanwhile, teams in the Western Conference have been fighting against each other with completely healthy rosters.
What will happen to the Celtics if they reach the Finals and have to play a full and robust roster from the West?
If the Celtics can overcome their opponent and win a championship, the claims of them being “soft” will vanish immediately.
But if they can’t pull it off, there will be serious concerns about this team’s ability to get the job done.
