Tyrese Haliburton was on fire Monday night, earning a triple-double against the Boston Celtics and leading his Indiana Pacers into the next round of the In-Season Tournament.

A lot of people noticed Haliburton’s explosive game, including Kevin Garnett.

Just last month, Garnett tweeted praise about Haliburton, saying, “Haliburton in that convo. What convo? Yeah… that convo.”

On Monday night, he retweeted his own message and added, “Yeah, that convo…”

Garnett is likely referring to a conversation about Haliburton winning his first Most Valuable Player trophy at the end of the season.

Or maybe he’s speaking about a conversation about the best players in the NBA.

Either way, Garnett is right to include Haliburton in chats about either of those topics, because he is proving to the entire league why he’s one of the hottest and most impressive young players in the league.

Haliburton is scoring 26.9 points, 4 rebounds, and 11.9 assists per game, leading the NBA in assists and repeatedly putting on a passing masterclass that leaves players and fans in awe.

The Pacers have been a blast to watch all season and have been scoring a massive amount of points again and again.

On Monday night, they shut down the Celtics and scored a big 122-112 victory on their path to the next round of the In-Season Tournament.

Haliburton received the most praise and attention during the win but multiple other players were lighting up too, including Buddy Hield with 21 points, Myles Turner with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Bennedict Mathurin, and others.

After years of carefully constructing the roster, the Pacers are looking great in the East.

As for Haliburton, he is reaching his next level of excellence.
