The Phoenix Suns were supposed to be one of the biggest powerhouses in the Western Conference.

Even at full strength, the Suns have only shown glimpses of great play, but they haven’t found consistency at all.

That’s why Kevin Garnett believes they should target a true point guard to solve their woes (via All the Smoke Productions).

With that in mind, Garnett stated that he would target Tyus Jones, adding that he would give them a huge boost because he’s a true point guard.

Garnett thinks neither Beal nor Booker should be running the point for Frank Vogel’s team, as they’re pure scorers and should be finishers and not facilitators.

The Celtics legend also praised Jones for being a pure playmaker who takes elite care of the ball and doesn’t turn it over, adding that he was able to keep the Memphis Grizzlies afloat when Ja Morant was out last season.

Truth be told, Jones should be quite sought-after ahead of the trade deadline.

While not an All-Star by any means, he’s the kind of role player who could elevate any team in need of a playmaker.

On top of that, the Washington Wizards have been one of the worst teams in the league this season, and they should be sellers ahead of the trade deadline so the Suns should actually listen to this piece of advice.
