One of the most intriguing quarterback situations this year is in Cleveland, Ohio.

Not because there is a quarterback competition going on or anything like that.

But because quarterback Deshaun Watson is coming off of an injury-riddled season and is hoping to get back to his old Pro-Bowl self.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski just revealed to the Cleveland media his practice plan for Watson, who is coming off of shoulder surgery last season.

“He’s making great progress. We will continue to just follow the medical team on this. But he looks like himself,” Stefanski said, per the team on Twitter.

If Watson is fully healthy and plays like his old Houston Texans self, the Cleveland Browns will have themselves a magical season.

Back before the off-the-field issues and the injuries that took place in Cleveland, Watson was one of the elite quarterbacks in football.

In three of his four full seasons in Houston, the former national champion made three Pro Bowls and helped the Texans win multiple AFC South titles.

In Cleveland, his supporting cast is one of the best in the entire league.

All-Pro running back Nick Chubb is coming off a brutal, season-ending knee injury.

The hope is that he is back to his old self beside Watson in the backfield.

He has a couple of Pro Bowl pass-catchers in wide receiver Amari Cooper and tight end David Njoku.

The team also traded for veteran and former first-round receiver Jerry Jeudy this offseason.

With that defense in Cleveland and if Watson is healthy, the Browns will be tough to beat.
