Kevon Looney Gives His Thoughts On Andrew Wiggins’ Injury

The Golden State Warriors have their season on the line Friday night.

They trail 3-2 to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals, meaning they need to win each of the next two games to advance.

But, winning Game 6 in Los Angeles will not be easy, especially with recent injury news.

It has been reported that Andrew Wiggins suffered a rib fracture in Game 5.

That is making him questionable to play in Game 6.

Warriors center Kevon Looney had a similar injury back in 2019, and he was able to play through it.

But the pain was intense.

According to Anthony Slater, Looney said it was difficult to play through.

Also, he mentioned how he did not even have to shoot like Wiggins will.

With the season on the line, it would be a surprise to see Wiggins sit out.

He is a valuable part of their team and is one of their best individual defenders.

He has done an especially good job of defending LeBron James.

The hope is that Wiggins will play in the game but he may be limited.

Golden State has had to battle plenty of adversity over the years and this is no different.

Other players will have to step up if Wiggins is not feeling his best.

It will be interesting to see how Wiggins performs early in the game.

You should be able to tell if he has any lingering effects of the rib injury.
