At 10-1, the Philadelphia Eagles have the best record in the NFL heading into their Week 13 game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Getting a win over the 49ers certainly won’t be easy for the Eagles, but they’ve already proven plenty of their doubters wrong this year, so they will look to do the same this weekend.
Helping Philadelphia’s chances to get a victory on Sunday is the fact that tight end Dallas Goedert returned to practice on Friday, less than a month after fracturing a bone in his arm (via Dov Kleiman on Twitter).

A decision regarding Goedert’s playing status hasn’t been made yet by Philadelphia, but the tight end returning to practice on Friday is certainly a good sign.
Before his injury, the Eagles tight end was in the middle of a solid season with 38 catches for 410 yards and two touchdowns in nine games.
If Goedert is able to return to the field on Sunday, taking on the 49ers defense is just about the toughest matchup he could ask for.
San Francisco is one of the best teams when it comes to defending tight ends this season, as no opposing tight end has hauled in a touchdown against San Francisco since Week 1.
Things could potentially go differently this weekend, however, as the 49ers will be without safety Talanoa Hufanga, who suffered a season-ending injury in Week 11.
Whoever is on the field for the Eagles and 49ers this weekend, the matchup will likely be highly competitive and potentially one of the best games of the 2023 NFL season.
