It only took one season for the Green Bay Packers to return to the playoffs after trading away Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers decided to move on from Rodgers after multiple years of the quarterback privately expressing his discontent with the franchise, and their fans thought it would mean a rebuild was on the way.
Green Bay caught some flak a few years ago for drafting Jordan Love in the first round despite Rodgers being squarely in his prime.
However, the move would prove a wise one given that Love was able to lead the team back to the playoffs.
Love’s first season under center for the Packers went about as well as someone could hope and he showed real strides throughout the regular season.
With how much he improved over the course of the year, Love was named to PFF’s All-Breakout Team via their Twitter account.
“Green Bay’s new starting quarterback got off to a rocky start but is on a torrid pace heading into the postseason,” PFF said.

Love’s place on the team is well-deserved, especially after he went on a strong run to close out the regular season.
Needing a win in Week 18 to qualify for the playoffs, Love carried the Packers to a victory over their NFC North rivals the Chicago Bears.
The signal caller threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns, but more impressively he completed 27 of his 32 passing attempts.
Love showed real poise in the pocket and was also able to create plays out of structure, two traits that must remind fans of Rodgers.
Although Love has to deal with the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round, there’s no doubt he’s proven to be the team’s quarterback going forward.
