NBA Draft Day is here, and time is running out to fire off your hot takes and Undisputed emptied the clip in this morning’s episode when they discussed who the best draft picks in NBA history are.

Former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson shared who he believes is the best draft pick ever, and it’s a strong answer.

Johnson said he believes Kobe Bryant is the best pick ever, saying “A kid coming out of high school, you weren’t expecting what he became” and adding “five titles, two Finals MVP, a regular season MVP, All-NBA 11 times, nine Defensive first teams, two scoring championships, at the 13th spot!”

During his era, high school draft picks actually had a strong success rate, as Kobe was joined by Kevin Garnett, Jermaine O’Neal, Tracy McGrady, Al Harrington, Tyson Chandler, and others to go on to have successful careers.

Paul Pierce had the correct answer to this question when he said that Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was the best pick ever, as he retorted Johnson’s point by arguing that drafting a 3-time MVP from the 41st pick is unheard of and will likely never happen again.

Jokic is the only player drafted outside of the top 15 to win an MVP award.
