The Los Angeles Chargers’ blowout loss to the Las Vegas Raiders was the talk of the town during the game.

Fans on both sides voiced their opinion about this game, each having very different reactions.

Chargers fans were upset about the team’s lack of points and effort throughout the game, while Raiders fans basked in the glory of finally scoring a significant amount of points.

Among the fan reactions were several calls for Brandon Staley’s job.

Most of the fanbase seems to believe that he needs to go for this team to unlock their potential fully.

While this might be the case among fans, Chargers players do not share the same sentiment.

After the game, several Chargers, including Khalil Mack, supported Staley as their coach moving forward.

In a statement shared via NFL reporter Clayton Holloway, Mack said, “Of course, we believe in him. And he believes in us.”

Of course, the jury is still out on what the front office thinks of Staley, but if player feedback is any indication, it seems he still has command of the locker room.

However, Mack and Derwin James could just be making these statements to save face, so their true feelings for Staley remain to be seen.

Regardless of what his players think of him, the organization has a big decision to make. ;

They could either fire Staley in the coming days, wait until the end of the year, or keep him around for another year.

As an organization, the Chargers have tended to give coaches additional chances where other teams are less apt to be patient.

Fans will anxiously await the next several days as they wait for the team to decide.
