One professional league that is full of trash talkers is the NBA.

You can find some of the best trash talking in those games on a nightly basis.

Some of the talk even gets to a point where fans hear about it off the court.

That was the case with an incident between Devin Booker and Klay Thompson last season.

Many recall the incident in a regular season game between the Suns and Warriors where Thompson was holding up four fingers for the number of titles he has won.

Yet, Thompson joined the “Podcast P” show and talked about how he was not proud of that moment.

“I was in my feelings, though, and Book was busting my a*s that day. I was not where I needed to be.”

He said he was “in his feelings” that game and he was not proud of that moment.

Also, Thompson said, “I was not where I needed to be.”

Thompson has earned the right to trash talk due to all the success he has had in the league.

Outside of the four championships, he has made five All-Star teams and two All-NBA teams.

He is still trying to get back to the level he was before he suffered two major injuries.

Recovering from an ACL tear and Achilles tear in back-to-back seasons is no easy task.

Yet, Thompson was able to play in 69 games this past season and averaged 21.9 points per game.

For the Warriors to get back on top of the league they need Thompson to return to All-Star form.

If he can do that the sky is the limit for Golden State.
