How will Klay Thompson work with the Dallas Mavericks roster?
This is something that many fans are wondering now that he has signed a deal to play alongside Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the rest of the squad.
Speaking at Hometown Favorites weekend, per a video from qwik11hoops, Thompson said that he thinks he will bring a lot to the team.
He believes he will be a great addition to the lineup, especially with the offense created by Doncic and Irving.

He said that Doncic and Irving cannot be guarded and they have already thrown other teams’ defensive plans for a loop.
He will only make life harder for the competition because he will be able to find his spot, shoot the ball well, and create killer three-pointers.
Thompson admitted that he might not be able to move as quickly or jump as high as before but he still believes that he will be a great addition to the team.
The Mavericks’ front office definitely feels the same way.
Some fans questioned the idea of adding Thompson to the Mavericks, especially after the season he just had with the Golden State Warriors.
But he is committed to working on his shot and fitting in with the offense the team has already built.
If he can perform like he used to, he will work magically off of Doncic and Irving.
It’ll make Dallas’ offense even better, becoming nearly unstoppable at times.
There could be problems, however, especially if Thompson continues to suffer from shooting problems.
But Thompson doesn’t foresee that happening and thinks he is going to be a key part of the team in the season ahead.
