The New York Knicks have already made a big move by trading for OG Anunoby.
They’re reportedly still monitoring multiple names in the trade market, and they have more than enough assets to pull some trades off.
They are also reportedly looking to offload Evan Fournier’s salary and move on from Quentin Grimes, and they’re a team to keep an eye on as we head towards the trade deadline.
On top of that, NBA insider Stefan Bondy reveals that Tom Thibodeau is ‘a big fan’ of both Gordon Hayward and Kyle Lowry, so those are two names to watch in the buyout market (via NBA Central).

Shams Charania reported that the Miami Heat are close to sending Kyle Lowry to the Charlotte Hornets, but there’s a chance he doesn’t suit up for them.
The Hornets are nowhere close to postseason contention, and with Lowry being in the final year of his contract, he could agree to leave something on the table and reach a buyout to pursue another championship with a contender.
As for Hayward, he’s struggled with injuries since he left the Utah Jazz, but he’s proven to be a serviceable two-way wing who can knock down shots from all three levels when healthy.
He’s also a prime buyout candidate as the Hornets look to give younger players more touches, and while he’s no longer an All-Star-caliber player, he still has plenty left in the tank and could still give them very good minutes off the bench.
