The New York Knicks may have opened up the trade gates when they swung a deal for OG Anunoby more than a month before the annual NBA trade deadline.
The deadline is an exciting time for fans because of all the potential player movement, and the Knicks got things started when they made an aggressive move to land Anunoby.
Although it cost New York Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett, Anunoby has fit in nicely and could be the difference in a playoff series given his play on both ends of the floor.
Anunoby might not be the Knicks’ only move, though, as there have been some reports that they could look to make another trade in the next month.
New York owns all their draft picks and has a few contracts they could use to make a deal.
One player they could look to move for a haul is Julius Handle via Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Bovada.
“The Knicks are reportedly open to trading Julius Randle,” Robinson reported.

Randle is having another All-Star-caliber season as he’s averaging 24.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
The power forward embodies the tough, physical identity of the roster but this recent report suggests that Randle can be had for the right price.
The Knicks might believe that their title window is right now, and while trading Randle might seem counterintuitive it’s hard to say for certain whether or not he can be the second or third-best player on a title team.
There hasn’t been much noise regarding Randle’s future in New York, though things can change quickly depending on who becomes available.
