The New York Knicks made a big splash when they traded for Toronto Raptors F OG Anunoby.
Anunoby has made an immediate impact in the Big Apple and has already become one of Tom Thibodeau’s favorite players, staying on the court for over 42 minutes in each of his past games.
That might not be healthy or sustainable, but that’s just the Thibodeau way.
This time, however, the team is making the right moves to give him a somewhat longer rotation ahead of the playoffs.
With that in mind, NBA insider Marc Stein reports that James Dolan’s team is keeping tabs on multiple veteran combo guards: Jordan Clarkson, Malcolm Brogdon, Terry Rozier, and Alec Burks (via Legion Hoops).

This makes perfect sense.
Clarkson is one of the best scorers off the bench in the league, but it seems unlikely that the Utah Jazz will part ways with him after the way they’ve played this season.
Brogdon has the highest upside as the best two-way option because of his high basketball IQ, but there are some serious injury concerns with him.
Rozier doesn’t give his team much on the defensive end, but he’s an instant offensive spark and has been red-hot from all three levels this season.
Last but not least, Burks is a proven veteran who can get buckets when needed.
The Knicks need more depth behind Jalen Brunson, and they have more than enough assets to get some deals done, so keep an eye on them ahead of the trade deadline.
