The New York Knicks ended the 2023-24 NBA season on a high note on Sunday, scoring the second spot in the East with a final record of 50-32.
It was a stunning achievement for the team that has been on the rise all season long.
What is causing such great work between the New York teammates?
According to Donte DiVincenzo, the fact that all the players really like one another really helps.
“We genuinely like each other,” DiVincenzo said, via Knicks Videos.
“It’s not for the cameras, everybody in this locker room likes each other. Everybody in this locker room wants everybody else to succeed,” he added.

DiVincenzo has just finished his first year with the Knicks and he fit in perfectly right away.
Perhaps it was the fact that he was playing alongside his former Villanova teammates, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.
Or maybe it was because, like he said, all the players on the team actually care about one another.
Whatever the reason, the Knicks have been a team to watch for months now.
The Eastern Conference has been messy and fluid for all of 2023-24 and the Knicks have been able to tough it out against some hard competitors and continually win some difficult games.
They ended the season strong and climbed to their second spot, sitting just ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers.
They will now face the winner of the Philadelphia 76ers/Miami Heat Play-In Tournament matchup.
The biggest question in the Eastern Conference has been who can beat the Boston Celtics, if anyone.
If any team is able to do that, it’ll be because their chemistry and culture are strong.
According to this statement from DiVincenzo, the Knicks are really enjoying their time together and that is what makes them so special.
