Donte DiVincenzo and the New York Knicks traveled to Chicago on Friday night to take on the Bulls.
It was a frustrating game for the Knicks and they eventually got defeated, 108-100.
It was made even more frustrating because of some very talkative fans who were sitting courtside.
Beau Knows shared a video on Twitter of him heckling DiVincenzo, yelling at him to tuck in his jersey.
That apparently got under DiVincenzo’s skin because he lashed out, turning around and yelling at the fan to “shut the f— up.”
Hi Mr. @Divincenzo – what did you say? pic.twitter.com/6qNB9EmIhn

“I mean it’s a rule in the NBA,” the fan replied as the game went on.
Technically, he is correct because players are supposed to have their shirts tucked into their shorts during games but it’s a violation that is rarely called out by refs.
This fan was obviously just attempting to upset DiVincenzo and talk trash.
He certainly achieved his goal.
DiVincenzo scored 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists during the game against the Bulls, which is lower than his output in the games preceding it.
For the season, he has averaged 15.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
He quickly became an important part of the team and is playing very well, especially alongside his old Villanova cohorts Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.
The Knicks have been experiencing a bit of a rough patch lately, losing four of their last five games and learning the news that Julius Randle is out for the rest of the season.
However, they are still the fifth-best team in the East and could have a good run in the playoffs in a few weeks.
DiVincenzo has improved the team throughout the season and now he’s prepared to help them a lot during the playoffs too.
He is hoping he does that without many comments from the crowd.
