Are the Washington Wizards about to have one of the most exciting duos in the NBA?
Kyle Kuzma recently received backup in DC with the addition of Jordan Poole.
For the last few years, Poole has been an essential part of the Golden State Warriors but now he’s branching out on his own and could do big things with Kuzma and the Wizards.
According to Hoop District, Kuzma thinks the two will work very well together.
He noted that they started their careers in similar ways, working with Hall of Famers and learning how to play off the ball.
Now that they have come together in Washington, they are retaining all they learned from their previous teams and adopting a new system too.
“It’s not a my turn, his turn type situation. We can play throughout an ecosystem together and make it work,” Kuzma said.

Poole has been a supporting player behind Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson since the beginning of his career.
As for Kuzma, he got his start with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Both Poole and Kuzma definitely did learn from the best as young players.
They were also, understandably, tasked with backing those stars up and deferring to them.
Now they have a team to lead and they are going to take what they learned in the past and find a way to become leaders themselves.
Kuzma had something to prove when he joined the Wizards and he has done a good job establishing himself and becoming a central part of the team.
Poole also now has something to prove and is ready to show what he and his new teammate are capable of.
