The Dallas Mavericks have been able to do something that no other team has been able to do, which is to tame Kyrie Irving.
The talented point guard has always been considered one of the most talented players in the Association.
However, his trouble-making nature and better-than-everybody-in-the-room attitude often drove his employers crazy.
That hasn’t been the case since he arrived in Dallas.
He’s fit like a glove alongside Luka Doncic, and while the early results weren’t that positive, the team decided to double down on them and give them the supporting cast they needed to be at their best.
You can tell that he’s enjoying life, and he’s not hiding it.
When asked about this brief tenure in Texas, he admitted that this has been the best portion of his career (via Bleacher Report).

Irving and Luka are the most unstoppable scoring duo in the league right now, and the Boston Celtics will have their work cut out for them.
On top of their talent, they’ve both proven to be made for the big moment, and they have two legitimate closers.
Irving’s return to the TD Garden is a storyline within itself, and things haven’t been pretty between him and the fans since he left the team.
Still, it seems like he’s finally more mature and ready to put those grudges behind him, even though he could have a little extra motivation to get back at them.
Whatever the case, it seems like this is finally his best version, and it’s very fun to watch.
