The Dallas Mavericks failed to steal one on the road in the first two games of the series.

The old saying states that a series doesn’t start until the road team wins one game, so this is still far from over.

The series will now head to Texas for Games 3 and 4, and the home side will have it’s back against the wall.

Even so, Kyrie Irving doesn’t seem to be too worried about that.

Following the loss, he made sure to let Boston Celtics fans know that they would be back there for Game 5 (via Kyrie Center IG & ClutchPoints).

Truth be told, it’s hard to think that the Mavs won’t win at least one game in this series.

They were one of the best — if not the best — team in the game after the All-Star break, dominating on defense and showcasing an impressive shot-making ability.

Still, they will need Kyrie to live up to his usual standards if they want to stand a chance to get the job done.

Irving has left plenty to be desired throughout the first two games of the series, with both Jrue Holiday and Derrick White doing an outstanding job of keeping him out of rhythm and making him fight for every inch of separation.

The Mavericks need Irving’s timely shot-making and championship-caliber experience to get right back in this.

And while it definitely won’t be easy, they have more than enough on their roster to give the Boston Celtics a run for their money.
