NBA All-Star Weekend will be held February 16 through 18 and will feature a number of very memorable moments.
Among them will be a highly-anticipated three-point contest between Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty.
These are perhaps the two greatest three-point shooters of all time so the competition will be something special to witness.
Speaking via the NBA’s Twitter account, Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks spoke about his expectations and hopes for the three-point shootout.
“I’m pulling for Sabrina, no disrespect to you Steph,” Irving said.

“You know, she got the record. She’s coming to defend her title. You’re coming to the competitive table to see if you can win. It’s going to be interesting,” Irving added.
Ionescu recently made history when she recorded 37 points out of a possible 40 in the three-point contest at the WNBA All-Star Weekend.
That was a record for both the WNBA and NBA.
At the same time, Curry has the most three-pointers in all of NBA history and has repeatedly shown that he can score from literally anywhere on the court.
This means that no matter who wins, these two players are going to give fans something to remember.
The three-point competition between Curry and Ionescu is one of the many events that the NBA hopes will make fans happy.
Last year’s All-Star Weekend didn’t receive rave reviews from people and the league has made some changes since then.
They expect this three-point contest and other moments throughout the weekend will remind fans just how fun the All-Star Weekend and Game can be.
