The NBA offseason seems to always be filled with drama.
Since the NBA is a business, many of the business things get wedged between a player and his team.
One of the big issues this offseason has been between the Philadelphia 76ers and star James Harden.
It appears there is a substantial rift between the sides and it has caused Harden to demand a trade.
The most recent fireworks in this situation came from Harden.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Harden called 76ers president Daryl Morey a “liar.”
He also mentioned that he will never be a part of a team with Morey again.
This news took the NBA world by surprise.
But, one current player took the side of Harden.
That was his former teammate Kyrie Irving, via Twitter.
Is he Disgruntled Adrian?? Or is he holding Darryl Morey accountable for his dishonesty and lack of transparency throughout the contract negotiation process this summer?

Irving has always been a player that is not afraid to voice his opinion.
His voice is something that has gotten him in trouble time and time again.
But, maybe he is right in this scenario.
We do not know the complete story behind Harden’s calling Morey a “liar” but it is fair to assume it has something to do with his contract situation and not receiving a long-term commitment.
This situation looks like one that will bleed into training camp and possibly the regular season.
It will be interesting to see what happens in Philadelphia and what team Harden is playing for next year.
