The Minnesota Timberwolves won’t go down without a fight.
Anthony Edwards played like the No. 1 pick again in Game 4, keeping his team afloat with a 29-point performance and falling just one assist shy of a triple-double.
Edwards also hit some big shots down the stretch, including a dagger three.
When asked about his performance, Kyrie Irving tipped his hat to his talented colleague, praising him for the confidence he plays with and stating that he’s always been that kind of consistent player (Via Joey Mistretta).

Irving said that the Mavs need to keep throwing bodies at him to keep him in check, which will obviously be easier said than done.
Edwards hadn’t been up to the task offensively thus far.
Gurading Kyrie and chasing him around the court took plenty out of him on the offensive end of the floor, and he looked quite tired down the stretch.
Karl-Anthony Towns also had his best game of the series after three subpar performances.
The big man knocked down four three-pointers and scored 25 points with five rebounds.
The series will now head back to the Twin Cities for Game 5, all while the Boston Celtics just sit back, relax, and get some rest ahead of the NBA Finals.
That’s why the Mavericks can’t afford this series to extend much further.
