The Los Angeles Lakers haven’t made any changes to their roster this offseason.
Although they added two rookies, they haven’t committed to the sort of adjustments that fans were hoping for when the season came to an end.
But perhaps the team is brewing up a big trade.
According to Jovan Buha, per NBACentral, the Lakers are looking to trade D’Angelo Russell.
Fans of the Lakers are surely feeling a sense of deja vu right now.

Just a few months ago, rumors swirled around Russell and the Lakers’ front office was allegedly looking to move him before the trade deadline.
But then Russell started to get really hot on the court and all rumors about him leaving died down.
Russell actually improved his output last season, averaging 18 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.
Why would LA want to move him if he’s playing better?
Russell is one of the few trade assets the team has and even though he experienced troubles in the playoffs he could still get a decent return on the trade market.
There are a number of NBA teams that would be willing and excited to sign Russell.
He would fit in well with several squads, including some of the youthful teams that need experience and guidance.
Of course, Lakers fans will wait and see if anything develops with this news because they have heard it all before.
Is Russell really going to get traded or will this be another instance of the Lakers thinking about it before deciding to keep him?
