The Los Angeles Lakers are living in a great moment right now after clinching a winning season.
The Purple and Gold came back to life after the 2023 trade deadline, surprising everybody.
Following a big win against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night, everybody was happy in Lakers Nation.
So much so that Darvin Ham starred in a hilarious moment with one of the team’s sensations this season, Austin Reaves.

Ham, who took over the Lakers this season, gave some MVP love to Reaves while he did his post-game interview.
The Lakers are now 42-39, sitting at 7th in the Western Conference standings.
Ever since the All-Star break, they own the best record in the West at 15-7.

LeBron James was in awe of his team after this big win, even sending a message to Anthony Davis.
LeBron James: “I was just telling AD, I was like, ‘Man, can you believe that we going to finish this season above .500 after everything that’s gone on this season?’ We’ve turned this thing around.”

The King knows they have gone a long way to be where they are right now, and this only means bad things for the rest of the league.
The Lakers have two of the best players in the league and now that the playoffs are here, they become more dangerous.
If the season finishes today, they would go against the New Orleans Pelicans in the play-in tournament.
This team was the 13th squad in the West for a hot minute, and now could even avoid playing extra games.
The front office did a terrific job adding the right pieces to complement LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
They go against the Utah Jazz this Sunday and try to climb to the 6th position in the West.
