In Tuesday’s Game 1 against the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers looked full of life, energy, and determination to outlast and outplay their opponents.

In Thursday’s Game 2, all of that was gone.

The Lakers were easily defeated in every way by the Warriors in the second game of the series but head coach Darvin Ham believes LA will bounce back.

“I fully anticipate our team will respond the right way,” Ham said about his team after the painful loss.

Speaking to the press, Ham touched upon many things that went wrong.

He mentioned that the team lacked the same speed and faced stagnation against an explosive Warriors roster.

Ham also addressed the lacking performance from Anthony Davis, who was held to just 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

Ham noted that Davis had it tough because he was being guarded by Draymond Green.

He said that his team was going to review everything they did right and also everything they did wrong and make adjustments before Game 3.

The loss on Thursday reminded people of LA’s Game 2 loss in the opening round against the Memphis Grizzlies.

After a strong, surprising win over the Grizzlies in their first match, the Lakers were then taken down by Memphis in the second game.

The Lakers then went on to win their next two games at home and, eventually, the series.

Followers of the team are thinking that LA might follow that pattern again.

LA is looking to get fired up and back on track when they return to Crypto.com Arena.

They have done it before and fans are hoping they do it again.
