The Los Angeles Lakers have made many changes so far this season.

When 2022-23 started, the team looked quite a bit different and then the front office got to work at the NBA trade deadline and landed some new, important talent for the roster.

One of the players they added was Jarred Vanderbilt, who was playing for the Utah Jazz.

Vanderbilt has looked pretty happy in LA and he has even more reason to be happy on Monday because it’s his 24th birthday.

Between his time with the Jazz and Lakers, Vanderbilt is having his best season ever.

He is averaging 8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists a game on 54.7% from the field.

When he was signed to the Lakers, they wanted Vanderbilt for his power, size, and speed.

The six-foot-nine power forward has mostly been delivering those things and has been a part of the Lakers’ big turnaround.

Before his move, Vanderbilt got started with the Denver Nuggets back in the 2018-19 season.

Since then, he moved to the Minnesota Timberwolves before spending just 52 games with the Jazz earlier this season.

He has always shown flashes of greatness and a lot of skill and it seems that he is finding a really good rhythm and camaraderie with his Lakers crew.

Does that mean that this will be his NBA home for the foreseeable future?

Since playing on LA’s big stage, Vanderbilt has garnered a lot more attention from fans – and some teams too.

Will he remain in LA or move to another team eventually?

Vanderbilt has been in the postseason two times before and it looks like he might be going back again with the Lakers in just a couple of weeks.
