The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves embroiled in a Play-In Tournament race as they are currently the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference.

For weeks, the standings have been tight and the Lakers have been one of the teams that have found themselves shuffling for Play-In Tournament seeding.

Los Angeles beat the Memphis Grizzlies and moved up to No. 8 after both the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings lost.

The seedings will ultimately come down to the final day of the 2023-24 NBA season and the Lakers could keep the eight seed if they manage to beat the New Orleans Pelicans on the road.

Aside from the playoff race, this weekend also features the Masters Tournament, the biggest golfing event of the year.

In honor of the Masters, Los Angeles reposted a video of the players taking part in a putting challenge via the team’s official Twitter account.

“When we pulled out the mini-green pre-practice… Happy Masters Weekend,” the Lakers tweeted.

In the video, the team puts out a putt-putt green for players to try and sink a golf ball.

Several of the players on the roster participate, with most of them being able to sink the putt.

Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell had no problem succeeding as the two are avid golfers, while players like Max Christie and Colin Castleton are also able to accomplish the feat.

Meanwhile, Christian Wood and Rui Hachimura both fail, with the latter having the worst swing of the two as his golf ball comes off the green.

It’s a fun moment for a team that’s playing for their postseason hopes on Sunday.
