Ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens look like the team to beat of the four remaining in the NFL playoffs.
This season has been a vindication year for superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has been criticized heavily over the last few years for his inability to stay healthy enough to guide the Ravens to the Super Bowl.
Along with a tense contract situation, which almost led to the team trading him, Jackson was able to land a lucrative long-term deal with the team and convince the franchise to make some key additions to the team, like drafting wide receiver Zay Flowers and signing superstar wideout Odell Beckham Jr.
It turned out to be the perfect recipe for success for the Ravens, as Jackson flourished and appears to be headed toward winning his second NFL MVP award.
According to Dov Kleiman, Jackson recently took to Twitter to poke fun at the other NFL teams that passed on him in favor of quarterbacks who never really panned out on the professional level.

Obviously, Baker Mayfield turned out to have some success with the Cleveland Browns and has resurrected his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he nor any of the other quarterbacks mentioned were able to reach the heights of Jackson, who may still have a lot of success ahead of him.
Heading into the AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs, the Ravens are the favorites to advance and take on the winner of the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.
