Lamar Jackson is one of the highest earners in the National Football League.

So, what might seem like a lot of money to us mortals is pretty much pocket change for the reigning MVP.

That’s why he’s not sweating about missing OTAs.

According to a report by Mike Florio of NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk, Jackson has missed a $750,000 workout bonus in the offseason.

Jackson has annual offseason workout bonuses for $750,000 that require that he participate in 80% of the offseason workouts, excluding only mandatory minicamps.

Per the report, Jackson has already missed too many workouts to get that money this time.

However, he’s going to have more opportunities to cash in on that bonus in 2025, 2026, and 2027.

Florio explained that the payments were initially believed to be offseason roster bonuses, but that’s not the case.

Now, he’s “only” going to make $31.75 million instead of $32.5 million.

Of course, this doesn’t mean Jackson isn’t getting some hard work in right now.

He’s gone through a major body transformation and has slimmed down significantly in the offseason, and franchise quarterbacks usually spend time working out on their own.

Jackson is coming off an MVP season, the second of his career.

He’s the best dual-threat quarterback in the game right now, and even though some expect the Ravens to regress significantly next season, they should still be in the mix for a Super Bowl berth.

Perhaps, if that happens, Jackson can recover that money he lost, even if he’s definitely not batting an eye about it.
