The Baltimore Ravens are slated to look significantly different in 2023 than they did in 2022.

Lamar Jackson has a new contract, the team has a new offensive coordinator, and they’ve added several new pieces to boot.

One of those pieces happens to be Odell Beckham Jr., who could provide a spark to this Jackson-led offense.

According to Jackson via Ravens reporter Sarah Ellison, “Odell is a legend to a lot of us.”

Lamar Jackson on Odell Beckham Jr.:

“Odell is a legend to a lot of us. What he did early in his career and the past year when he was with the Rams. Odell is him.”

It appears that Jackson is more than ready to get to work, especially with Beckham as a receiving option.

Despite a catastrophic injury to Beckham during the Super Bowl, Jackson believes that Beckham still has plenty of juice left.

While fans haven’t necessarily seen the Jackson-Beckham connection on the field yet, there’s reason to believe that the Ravens’ offense will be high-powered.

Todd Monken is the new offensive coordinator, a move that has been highly regarded by many analysts across the league.

Monken is known for conducting a high-flying, high-octane offense.

Under his leadership in 2019, the Cleveland Browns attempted 33.7 passes per game, the 20th-highest mark in the league.

By itself, that’s not necessarily a telling statistic.

However, when comparing that to the Ravens’ 27.8 attempts last season, it’s an indication that Jackson is in for a massive workload.

Beckham could have a massive season this year, a beneficiary of Monken and Jackson’s offensive minds.
