On August 14th, the NFL world received news of Alex Collins’ death.
The former Baltimore Ravens standout got into a fatal motorcycle accident, causing many former teammates to express their condolences.
Among them was Lamar Jackson, who shared the field with Collins for a few seasons in Baltimore.
After a video of Collins’ highlights was shared by Ramey, Jackson responded with praying hands and angel emojis.

The video shared was of a fourth and three situation, with the Ravens in trouble.
They were down 24-10 to the Cincinnati Bengals and were in desperate need of a big play.
Collins was pitched the ball from Joe Flacco and ran to his left.
When it seemed as though all hope was lost, Collins pivoted quickly, running to the right side of the field.
From there, he evaded several tackles en route to a touchdown, scoring on their division rival.
Collins was known for similar runs throughout his career.
There are countless other highlights of Collins’ career with the Ravens and Seattle Seahawks.
Collins made an impact on Jackson that won’t soon be forgotten.
As Jackson remembers Collins’ legacy on this tragic day, Jackson and the Ravens are also looking to the 2023 campaign, hoping to honor Collins with their season.
