The Baltimore Ravens did Lamar Jackson wrong, but he’s not doing himself any favors, either.

The Louisville product has been quite active and honest on social media, but perhaps he’s being way too honest for his own good.

Jackson recently addressed the rumors of him sitting out the final games of the season to protect his free agency value, stating that he would’ve sat out the whole season if that were to be the case.

He could’ve stopped right there, but he added that he was far from healthy due to that PCL injury, adding that he wasn’t there at all and that his PCL got inflated after the game versus the Steelers.

This is where Jackson could use an agent or at least a PR team.

He should never openly discuss that kind of injury when trying to get a fully guaranteed deal, especially after so many teams have publicly expressed their concerns about his health and durability.

There’s no doubt that Jackson deserves to be paid as one of the best quarterbacks in the game because he is one of the best quarterbacks in the game.

But he’s just not going to get the guaranteed money he wants at his point, especially if he continues to disclose such a delicate injury on social media every time he’s crossed or challenged.

It’s unfortunate, but this is a merciless business, and Jackson continues to shoot himself in the foot every single time he picks up his phone.
