Lamar Jackson is, without a of doubt, one of the best players in the National Football League.

As such, expectations and demands are quite steep.

We’ve seen him beat good teams and put on a show over and over, yet he seems to turn into a completely different player come playoff time.

That has led analysts and fans to question whether a player of his style can win a Super Bowl.

With the start of the season just around the corner, the reigning MVP admits that bothers him (via Jeff Zrebiec & Bleacher Report).

“I haven’t gotten a Super Bowl yet.  That’s the only thing that bothers me,” Jackson said.

Of course, he’s still very young, and even though he’s a two-time MVP and has been around the league for quite a while now, he should still have his best football ahead of him, not to mention plenty of chances to play in the big game.

Then again, the narrative around him has been settled already, and he’s going to have to prove everybody wrong to turn that around.

The Ravens finally have some reliable pass-catchers, and they added the ultimate bruiser in Derrick Henry, so there won’t be any more room for excuses or shortcomings.

People only expect great things from Lamar Jackson because they’ve seen that he’s capable of doing them.

The ball is now in his court, and it’ll be up to him to put an end to the drought.
