Every player in the NBA, past and present, has named their top-five players of all time at one time or another, with former NBA star Lance Stephenson being the latest to chime in on the subject.

Most of these lists have some similarities, and Stephenson’s top-five players are no different, even though he refused to name them in order from No. 1 to No. 5.

Stephenson went with Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, who is on almost everyone’s list of top-five players of all time, which is usually followed by Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant and the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron James.

Along with three of arguably the most-named players in this conversation, Stephenson had an unexpected twist by picking San Antonio Spurs legendary forward/center Tim Duncan before going with four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal as his last pick via Hoops Hype.

That’s a pretty solid list from Stephenson, who has seen his fair share of talented players during his career in the NBA, as he played for eight different franchises, including the Indiana Pacers, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Minnesota Timberwolves, Lakers and Atlanta Hawks.

With so many players emerging as legitimate superstars over the years in today’s NBA, like Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, it’ll be interesting to see how these lists change in the future.

Curry will almost certainly be on a lot of these lists, followed by Jokic and Antetokounmpo, with these superstars putting together quite a resume.
