Team USA’s men’s basketball team has been gearing up for several weeks to compete at this year’s Olympics.
Despite how stacked this team is, there have been some doubts about Team USA’s ability to take home another gold, especially since they struggled in exhibition games against Germany and South Sudan.
However, Larry Brown isn’t worried, as he highlighted during a recent segment of Sirius XM NBA Radio.
Team USA has something that a lot of other teams across the globe don’t have: an abundance of experience.
“You have guys that have been in multiple Olympics,” Brown said.

Brown believes that Team USA’s experienced team members will help them down the stretch, and it could protect them against younger teams with more energy.
Lebron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant are all on the roster, a massive leg up for Team USA over the rest of their competition.
No matter how good a team looks on paper, International competition is a different beast, one that not every country and team is ready for.
Team USA might be ready, but will any of their opponents catch them off balance?
Fans will anxiously await the next few days when the Olympics officially begin.
This All-Star team, of sorts, will do everything possible to represent their home country and bring home some more hardware.
