After a long-awaited return, college football is back.
For many fans, the end of August marks the most exciting part of the sporting calendar.
Not only is college football starting, but the NFL season is right around the corner, and the MLB season is gearing up for its final month of regular season action.
While the first major Saturday slate has yet to be played, several collegiate games have already taken place, including a matchup between Colorado and North Dakota State.
This wouldn’t normally be a marquee matchup, but now that Deion Sanders is Colorado’s head coach, they had quite the audience.
It’s a good thing that a lot of eyes were on this game, as the connection between Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter got off to a fast start.
Hunter finished the game with seven catches for 132 yards and three touchdowns, and he had an impressive reception in the process.
This highlight-reel play caused many people to react on social media, including LeBron James, who called Hunter “ridiculous” on X.

Colorado wasn’t ranked to start the season, and they might have a long way to go for that to happen.
However, Sanders is shaping up to be a potential top-five pick in next year’s NFL Draft, and Hunter could be a first-rounder, as well.
This team certainly has some talented players, so it will be interesting to see if they can put it all together and find meaningful success in the win column.
If they keep winning, the world will keep watching.
