LeBron James has already solidified his place in NBA history.
He will likely be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, known as one of the best players, if not the best player, of all time.
While he could hang up his basketball shoes today and be a legend, James still believes he has more to offer on the court.
He just signed a new deal with the Los Angeles Lakers and while the 2024-2025 season is still looming, he has an important responsibility for Team USA in the Olympics.
James is the oldest person on Team USA and is looked upon as a leader by many on the team.
He just led the roster with 20 points in a big win over Team Germany, their last game before the Olympics begin.
After this game, James made sure to let the media know his thoughts on the state of this team, and what their attitude is heading into the big games.
As he said per USA Basketball via Bleacher Report on Twitter, “We saw some adversity, which is f***** good.”
“We saw some adversity, which is f—king good.”

Team USA nearly lost to Team Germany in this matchup, and they also almost lost to South Sudan, a team they were expected to take down with ease.
James seems to take on this adversity head-on, hopefully giving this team momentum and energy heading into the Olympics.
Having a mental edge over your competition is a big deal in team sports, and if James’ attitude models the rest of the team, they should be in a prime position moving forward.
