Aaron Rodgers has been making waves on social media and the airwaves despite not playing for the New York Jets since Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.
Rodgers tore his Achilles before even completing a pass for the Jets, but he immediately underwent surgery and has been hell-bent on returning before the end of the year.
An Achilles tear typically requires a full year to recover from, but Rodgers is pushing to play just three months out from surgery.
It would be unprecedented for a professional athlete to return from a serious injury like an Achilles in that time, but Rodgers has a real chance to do so.
The future Hall of Famer made another progression in his rehab as New York activated his 21-day practice window.
Video of Rodgers’ return to the practice field went viral and drew a nod from Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James via his personal Twitter account.
Wow!!! Simply INCREDIBLE!! . Back where he belong! A-ROD8⃣ https://t.co/EWIX0zjOAa

James is one of the few athletes in the world that can relate to Rodgers because he’s got the Lakers in the playoff mix despite being 38 years old.
James and Rodgers have a mutual respect for each other as some of the best players in their respective sports, and the former must be amazed at how someone like Rodgers still has the will to work this hard just to play again.
The Lakers superstar surely admires what Rodgers is doing, and the Jets fanbase and organization can appreciate the work he’s put in to get to this point so quickly.
