C.J. Stroud has been the talk of the town around the NFL this season.
The former No. 2 draft pick of the Houston Texans has made quite a name for himself, which has started to extend beyond the NFL.
It appears that Stroud has captured the attention of NBA superstar LeBron James, demonstrating his nationwide reach.
In a conversation with the Houston Chronicle, James said that Stroud is “Very impressive, very poised, and a franchise quarterback.”
LeBron James impressed by C.J. Stroud so far: “He’s impressive. He’s definitely offensive rookie of the year, as it stands right now. Very impressive, very poised and a franchise quarterback.”https://t.co/FK5lQk9MTT pic.twitter.com/A39P6HP5Mg

Unless something unforeseen happens, Stroud seems to be a near lock for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
He already holds the record for most passing yards in a single game by a rookie and looks to add another notch to his belt on the year.
James recognizes the type of impact Stroud has had in his rookie year, which extends far beyond his teammates.
For the first time since the early days of Deshaun Watson, the Texans fanbase seems to be full of life, energized, and ready to keep rallying around Stroud.
They can sense that there is something different about this kid, a winning mentality that should result in great things in the future.
While there is a lot of excitement for what he can do in his career, Stroud appears focused on the here and now.
The Texans are facing the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10, which should prove to be a trying matchup for the rookie.
The Bengals are surging, but if Stroud can put together another masterclass performance, the Texans could very well pull out an unlikely victory on Sunday.
