LeBron James is running out of NBA records to break.
He is the all-time leader in points scored, and while he isn’t close to being the oldest player in league history, he is nearing 40.
Typically, players tend to retire around the age of 35, and making it to 40 in the NBA is a rare occurrence.
James is in the middle of his 21st season, and he isn’t just playing at this age, but he continues to play at a high level.
Fans and analysts have wondered how much longer he can keep this up, a question he answered in a recent postgame presser.
According to reporter Jovan Bhua, James said, “I’m not gonna play another 21 years, that’s for damn sure. But not very long. I don’t know when that door will close as far as when I’ll retire. But I don’t have much time left.”

There is no doubt that James is one of the best players in NBA history, if not the best, at least in the minds of some fans.
He has made a monumental impact on the game of basketball, and whenever he retires, it will be a sad day for the sport.
While James has indicated that he doesn’t have a lot of time left, he didn’t put a definite timeline on himself.
This hopefully allows fans to enjoy James in the present moment, knowing that they are seeing some of the last years of this legendary player’s career.
Can James find a way to win another title by the end of his career?
