LeBron James is 38 years old and has continued to dominate the NBA despite his age.

While many players hang up their sneakers well before their 38th birthday, James has continued to defy all odds.

ESPN and SportsCenter have recently reported on the oldest active player in the league, which is Andre Iguodala.

This was quite shocking to James, who responded to this on Instagram, as he believed that he was the oldest, via Legion Hoops.

Iguodala is currently 39 and holds the title of the league’s oldest player.

James is in the two spot, followed by P.J. Tucker, Chris Paul, and Taj Gibson, who are all 38 as well.

While all of these players are currently active, none of them possess the current skill and athletic prowess of James.

His dominance has now eclipsed two decades, and there’s no telling when he’ll finally decide to retire.

Many around the league have predicted that he’s going to wait until he can play in the league at the same time as his son.

However, recent reporting has indicated that James could retire sooner than that if his body starts breaking down sooner than expected.

James is tied to the Los Angeles Lakers through the 2023-2024 season, with a player option the next year.

There will be many eyes on him throughout the upcoming season, especially considering the state of the Lakers roster.

When he’s been healthy and active, Anthony Davis has been a great running mate alongside James.

Despite a top-loaded team, the Lakers did make it to the Western Conference Finals last season.

Can James lead them there again this year?
