LeBron James Reacts To His Viral Photo

The Los Angeles Lakers are hoping this is the year they can win another championship.

Last season, they came up short after getting swept in the Western Conference Finals by the Denver Nuggets.

This season, they had a tough first game losing to a nearly identical Nuggets team.

But, facing an undermanned Phoenix Suns team, the Lakers were able to squeak out a victory.

LeBron James played well in the game scoring 21 points with nine assists and eight rebounds.

Even at the age of 38, James is showing he can be one of the game’s best players.

Also, he still has elite athleticism for his age.

As shared by Basketball on X, a now-viral photo was taken of James jumping up to deflect a pass.

His comment on that photo says people are still sleeping on his jumping ability.

It is rare to see a player near the top of his game at 38, but James has done a great job taking care of his body.

That allows him to do things that many people before him were unable to do.

In spite of his fitness level, the Lakers are hoping to take it easy on James this season.

Head coach Darvin Ham said he would prefer that James stays around the 30-minute-per-game mark.

But, knowing the Lakers need James on the court to win, his minutes will most likely go up throughout the year, as signified in last night’s win, where he played 35 minutes.

James has always said that he wants to play in the NBA with his oldest son, Bronny.

He seems to be in great shape, and that dream may become a reality over the next year or two.
