LeBron James has already won almost everything in the NBA.
He might never win Sixth Man of the Year, he’s definitely not winning Most Improved Player, and he came pretty close to winning Defensive Player of the Year.
Other than that, he’s already been there and done that.
One thing that was missing from his résumé, however, was being the flag bearer for the USA in the Olympics.
Notably, that’s an honor no other American male basketball player can brag about, and it might take a while before someone else gets the nod.
That’s why when asked his thoughts and feelings about being voted as the flag bearer ahead of the Paris Olympics, the four-time NBA champion claimed that it was something that he held with the utmost honor (Via Yahoo Sports & USA Basketball).

James stated that this is something that he, his friends, and even his community will remember and carry with them forever, and he was pretty humbled by the experience overall.
LeBron is about to enter his 22nd season playing at the highest level.
He’s not the first or only athlete to eclipse 40 years of age and still be elite at what he does, but nobody in NBA history has even come close to posting the numbers he posted in his 21st campaign.
James continues to establish marks and add to his already impressive résumé.
But of all the things he’s accomplished to date, which are more than plenty, this might be the most significant one.
