LeSean McCoy Had Big Reaction To NFC East QBs Comparison

One could make a case that there have never been as many great quarterbacks in the NFL at the same time as there are right now.

Obviously, that leads to countless comparisons, rankings, tiers, and whatnot, and not everyone will be pleased to hear another person’s opinion.

That seemed to be the case when former Super Bowl champion LeSean McCoy heard Ric Bucher putting Jalen Hurts and Daniel Jones in the same tier, stating that they’re — obviously — not elite.

McCoy asked where was all the disrespect coming from, as there was no way that Hurts and Jones should be in the same conversation.

Per Bucher, Joe Burrow should be as good as he was last season; Justin Herbert will hopefully be a little better, but Hurts won’t improve that much, mostly because he was a byproduct of how stacked the Philadelphia Eagles were.

Bucher believes that Hurts was just a part of why the Eagles were good, as opposed to the main reason behind that.

McCoy got heated and refuted that argument by stating that Hurts was the reason why that offense was so efficient and solid last season.

Whatever the case, this is nothing new for Hurts and his fans.

The former Oklahoma Sooner has always been underrated and overlooked, and he’s had to silence his critics one by one.

Of course, the Eagles did have a stacked roster, but he still had to hit those guys in stride and make some plays with his feet.

Will he be as good, better, or regress in 2023? We’ll have to wait and see.
