The Dallas Cowboys are one of the leading contenders to win the NFC and reach the Super Bowl this season, and one of the biggest reasons is pass rusher Micah Parsons.
The linebacker has had a banner start to his NFL career, as he has made the Pro Bowl and All-Pro First Team in both of his first two seasons while piling up 26.5 sacks during that time.
Parsons recently said that he not only wants to reach the Hall of Fame but that he also wants to become one of the greatest players ever enshrined in Canton, Ohio.
Former running back LeSean McCoy said he loves Parsons’ comments, via “Speak” on FS1.

In fact, McCoy even compared Parsons to legendary linebacker Lawrence Taylor, whom some consider the greatest to ever play the position.
That is some extremely high praise, as Taylor made 10 straight Pro Bowls and won three Defensive Player of the Year awards while becoming one of just two defenders to ever be named regular-season MVP.
If Parsons is to accomplish his lofty goal, he will eventually have to win a Super Bowl, something Taylor did twice while with the New York Giants.
The Cowboys have had one of the league’s best rosters the last few years, but they have failed to reach the NFC Championship Game during that time.
This season, they have given Parsons some help in the form of star cornerback Stephon Gilmore while also adding wide receiver Brandin Cooks.
Dallas hasn’t won it all since the 1995 season, and their fanbase has grown extremely restless over the team’s inability to recapture its past glory.
