The Philadelphia Eagles may have imploded during the 2024 NFL Playoffs, but they should be considered a Super Bowl contender heading into the 2024 NFL season.
The Eagles revamped their coaching staff and made meaningful additions to the roster on both sides of the field, making them a tough postseason opponent.
Head coach Nick Sirianni has all the talent and depth to make a meaningful playoff run, though the task ahead is difficult given the improved NFC.
Offensively, though, Philadelphia should be in a much better position to score points after adding Saquon Barkley to the mix in the offseason,
At his peak, Barkley is one of the best runners in the league who can also catch passes and protect in passing sets.
While Barkley is set to embark on his first season with the Eagles, the organization will be honoring another running back in LeSean McCoy this upcoming season via the team’s official Twitter account.
“It’s been a long time coming. Shady is headed to the Eagles Hall of Fame! See you on November 3, @CutonDime25.”c

McCoy was originally drafted in the second round by Philadelphia and went on to make two First-Team All-Pro teams and three Pro Bowls during his time with the franchise.
McCoy was the rushing touchdown leader in 2011 and later was the rushing yards leader in 2013, a testament to his pure running ability.
The honor is a big one for McCoy who was a beloved player during his time with the Eagles and it’ll be an exciting day for him and the fans when he is officially inducted.
