The Denver Nuggets have the best player on Earth right now.
Nikola Jokic’s game is a beauty to watch for basketball fans, but old-school fans might not feel this way.
He’s not the prototypical heavy-footed, back-to-the-basket big man who only thrives off putbacks and lobs, nor is he a defensive-oriented big — although he’s made great strides as a rim protector.
Jokic has laid the blueprint for the modern big man, looking like a younger, better, healthier version of Arvydas Sabonis.
Nonetheless, Lil Wayne doesn’t seem to be much of a fan.
In a recent clip shared by NBA Retweet on Twitter, the hip-hop legend claimed that he didn’t like Jokic’s game, stating that it’s not old-school at all and even making fun of his body.

Shortly after, Wayne talked about how people should stop hating on Rudy Gobert, as he just had a child and that should be all that matters.
Lil Wayne is a diehard sports head and a big Los Angeles Lakers fan, but perhaps he’s not the most authorized voice to talk about a professional athlete’s body.
At the end of the day, he has every right not to like Jokic’s game; it’s impossible to get everybody to like you.
But from that to try and take anything away from him after all he’s done in the past couple of years, that just doesn’t make any sense.
